Usually our dogs get to run free outside and play, but sometimes it is necessary to confine them in a run.

Gaus Hof Poodles is a small breeding facility located approx. 1 1/2 hours southwest of Chicago,IL.
The kennel is in a loveley country setting on 120 acres and operated by husband and wife team, George and Rita.
All dogs live in a heated and air conditioned building. We spend most of our day in that building or outside with the dogs, so they are well socialized and not isolated.
Rita was a certified vet tech in Germany where she grew up and she also continued to work for vets in this country. She is also a certified medical assistant and has worked in the natural medicine field for many years.
This knowledge is now implemented into our kennel business.
Rita also does all our grooming, and our main goal is to breed healthy, happy and social puppies that will be well rounded pets with stable temperaments, a pet that you can enjoy for a long time.
We breed Standard Poodles and Goldendoodles.
We also have a variety of colors, some of them are red, black, brown, apricot, parti, and blue. We also own a rare red and white parti male.
In general our standards can be anywhere from 40lbs and larger. We breed to provide you with a happy, healthy pet and don't breed for show, however that doesn't mean that our dogs would not be able to enter into the show ring, we just can't guarantee that your pup would be of show quality.
We provide our customers with a one year replacement health warranty for genetic conditions, such as heart,liver or kidney disease. All of our poodles are AKC registered.

We ship our puppies within the United States for $350
That includes the airfare,
airline carrier and vet fee.
Shipping of older dogs can be more expensive, depending on weight and kennel size.
